Chris Yuen has been a professional digital designer for over 15 years. He has been involved in many successful graphics and web design projects, spanning across a wide variety of industries, including technology, energy, finance, fashion, education, food and health. Chris has designed as a freelancer in Canada and continues to do so today since arriving in Japan in 2007. His clients include small businesses, corporate institutions, and government sectors internationally. He is passionate for design and holds himself to top-standards for the quality of his work while multitasks accordingly, adhering to project budget and deadlines.
Before relocating to Japan, Chris had been an Associate Development Lead with Streamline Learning Systems Inc. in Canada. At SLS, he played a key role in the company’s growth and grew together with it from a small 3-man home office in 2001, to a multi-million-dollar annual-revenue business 5 years later when it was bought by investors. In addition to actively planning, designing, and delivering distance training implementations and brand marketing materials for SLS clients, Chris took on positions that were not native to his design training, including team management, accounts payable, revenue and invoice processing, human resources time tracking, and server backup systems.
